1972 Chevy Balboa Motorhome - 18ft fiberglass vintage camper van - Rare and Unique

Originally built in Costa Mesa, CA. This is #562 of 950 ever made between 1968-74.  This unique camper van has huge windows, doesn’t rattle or rust or leak.  It received a renovation/remodel/rejuvenation.  This Chevy G30 van, originally from Santa Barbara is dialed in and ready for the new owner to enjoy, and answer everyone’s smiling questions about it.  CA title.  Here are just some details:

The Van:
Built on a 1972 Chevy G30 1-ton van chassis V8 5.7L 350 3- speed Automatic “Beauville edition”
Dashboard AC works and recently serviced
Odometer 86,350 - Power steering, power brakes (google Chevy G30 for more specs)

New shocks and rims and tires
Recent full brake job and service $2k reciepts
New alternator, new spark plugs, oil changed, new fuel lines, new fuel filter, new battery, tuned up and gone thru by a mechanic
Original stereo, and tape player, but it doesn’t work, I use a Bluetooth speaker box
New brown carpet kit in chassis area, nice unique plaid upholstery all trim polished
Exterior side access locking hatch door, Onan large generator in here
Van has an auxiliary gas tank, so it has two working gas tanks!
Brand new Cooper Discovery Tires and rims
Exterior paint job and stripe
Exterior -  all New LED running lights, tail lights, reverse bullet lights, and license plate light

 

The Camper Area:
Windows were removed, cleaned, and re-sealed with butyl tape and RV lap sealant, new screens
Rear Door polished, removed, new seal and screws, new lock and door hardware w/ keys
All chrome polished, cleaned and washed, all screws switched to stainless, bumper painted, new spare tire cover, new headlights, grill, running lights, license plate light
2 New Roof vents - 1 with 3 speed reversible fan, and  new plumbing vent covers
Renogy soft roof panel with 30amp solar controller, USB charger, and new battery
110v rv plug in for shore power 
Onan Gas Generator mounted in storage area, it turns over but I’ve never run it, you don’t need it, remove it and sell it! Its got solar.  You would need it if you add a rooftop AC unit.
New Water pump, new farmhouse sink faucet, new 20 gallon onboard water tank under bench seat
Water filter for drinking water on sink and new soap dispenser
Propane Hot Water heater and  Propane cabin heater and propane oven/stove
Wet shower/toilet room in rear, new shower head faucet, flush toilet
New TrafficMaster vinyl plank flooring and base trim
Interior cleaned, new cabinet hardware, hinges, and handles painted, new latches
Upper cabinets clean, original curtains cleaned, and in the upper bunk area if you want them on
Original Interior lighting, rear stereo and tape player on toggle switch, but not sure if it works
Dinette can be turned into a bed, Sofa bench also pulls out to be a bed, upper bunk area could be a child bed area also
Upolstery is nice plaid, has a vintage feel, clean and no major rips
Probably much more new stuff to mention but I did so much I can’t remember everything!
